What is Ear Wax?
Ear wax is a natural occurrence and it is produced by the mixing of the sebaceous glands and dead skin in the ear canal. It normally makes its way slowly along the ear canal to the opening where it falls out or is washed away. It can cause a variety of conditions including reduced hearing, a plugged-up sensation, noise (including Tinnitus), and pain. Sometimes excessive amounts of ear wax occurs and needs to be removed manually. This is best done professionally.
Micro-Suction Ear Wax Removals
Micro-Suction is one of the safest and most-effective methods of ear wax removal. The procedure uses a dry gentle suction technique and is generally fast and pain-free. Using ear drops for up to a week before your appointment will help with its removal but should only be used on advice from your health practitioner.
“I visited my GP today to have wax removed but he was not able to help and recommended Hearing Healthcare. I rang to make an appointment, which I got on the same day. The Audiologist checked my ears and removed all of the wax easily. I am so satisfied. I can highly recommend them, thank you so much.”
